Many times I have been asked this and so many times I've answered the question "What is TMG in your opinion and why are you in it?" My answer has never changed over the course of the 7-8 months I've been in and it probably never will as long as I'm in it. TMG ( TroubleMakersGaming ), in my eyes, is one of the greatest achievements that has been made in course of this different time. A time with technology, a time of change, a time of a new-seeking generation. Of course you see things or experience events that are so dramatic or so stupid you can't pull yourself to think as to why you're even in it. Like, why waste my time with a virtual group of people, with false ranks that aren't even real, where a guy just like me says something and I follow it like a servant. Well, I can't lie, I've had thoughts like this bu, never had I thought as to why I do it. Yes, the reality of it to people that aren't into TMG would be what was just listed above, but to me, I have answers.
TMG to me. the reason I put my work/1/4 of my life into it is because, it's something bigger than just a stupid little thing over a gaming console. It's a family, a job, and reality. This is what life sort of entails, listening to others that are above you and executing the assignment given.
TMG is a family for the most part. Filled with all kinds of different people: male and female, boy, girl, women, men all sorts of ages and types. Whenever you hop on you know there'll be at least one person on that you can talk to. TMG has allowed me to meet people that have become friends and have come to know me as a person, as I to them. People that I probably would've met in real life or in a Call of Duty lobby that would've gotten into an arguement with me, sit down with me and discuss matters at hand in TMG and their own lives. TMG has allowed and granted me the oppurtunity to meet people and you guys as well.
TMG is also sort of a mentor in your life. Now what I mean about that is, on many different occasions in both my life and some of the lives fellow or previous TMG members have had, something that we did or that happened in TMG has helped us or has given us the knowledge to solve certain situations or to help us gain discipline. That is a very important part in life.
Now last but not least, TMG to me and a very big part as to why I'm in it is that it is a great distraction to your life. Say you have problems with your family, or girlfriend/boyfriend, and you just wanna get your mind off of it, but you can't, doing TMG work or talking to people in TMG is very helpful. I say this with due experience from myself. It really helps distract you when you gotta remember squad meeting days and do your work assigned to your role/rank and so forth.
I really do love you TMG, ( as much as that makes me sound like a no-lifer ) mostly the people in it. So remember fellow TMG goers...
